Globecast is a worldwide company working with global media companies managing and distributing their content to billions of viewers spread over 5 continents. Every day the company sends thousands of hours of content flowing over 75,000 miles of fibre, which is uplinked from their teleports around the globe to all major satellites.
CODICUTS have carried out minor civil works at Globecast’s UK facilities for over ten years working with their engineering team to install and upgrade equipment, tasks carried out include.
- Diamond drilling and sawing
- Casting concrete support plinths for large satellite dishes
- Installing cable ducts and trays
- Installing steel work, access ladders and hand rails
- Constructing support plinths and installing communications containers
